Background
Born in Guyana, Veda migrated to Canada at the age of 19 where she quickly transitioned and bought her first home at the age of 21. She fell in love with Canada and that feeling along with her eagerness to help others; is what fueled her passion to join the real estate industry.

Being a veteran real estate broker based in Toronto with over three decades of experience in real estate investments, she posses a strong financial and banking background with extensive knowledge of the industry. She is also a proficient negotiator making her an asset in her field. She has successfully built a stellar reputation for herself and is well sought after by potential homebuyers, sellers, developers, and investors. Her unrelenting professionalism, integrity and the ability to form lasting relationships with her clients and industry professionals alike is what defines her.

Veda’s entrepreneurial journey in the real estate industry was further cemented when she decided to also add the title of mortgage broker to her list of designations. Due to her insatiable appetite for acquiring knowledge and the desire to expand her growing list of services provided, she joined one of the largest mortgage brokerage firms, Dominion Lending Center, as a franchise owner. This resulted in the establishment of Verena Mortgages.

She holds several diplomas in leadership management, real estate, master negotiation, home staging and financial services underwriting. Being in an industry that is always rapidly changing; she is exceedingly motivated to keep acquiring knowledge. In addition, she shares her wealth of knowledge with students at community colleges, as a Teacher for Adults.

Outside of work, Veda loves travelling, discovering new music, dancing, reading, getting creative in the kitchen, spending time with her son, Udara and puppy.
